African Drumming Ensemble

Pitt's African Music and Dance Ensemble will host guest artists from around the city and the world including Timbeleza (Brazilian percussion ensemble from Pittsburgh) performing on their own and with Yamoussa Camara, Congalese dance and drum group Bokulaka Iyende, Guinea West African group Camara Drum and Dance, and the Point Park University African Dance Ensemble.

Join Director Yamoussa Camara and Pitt’s African Music and Dance Ensemble for an evening of traditional and contemporary African performance. Pitt’s performers will be joined by leading African music groups Legacy Arts, Sankofa Village, and Camara Drum and Dance.  The concert is free and open to the public.
