Godwin Sadoh's (MA '98) article “Celebrating the Cathedral Church of Christ Choir, Lagos, Nigeria, at Ninety” appears in the September issue of The Diapason. The articles traces the history of the choir in celebration of its 90th anniversary. Sadoh himself is an alumnus of Cathedral Choir and served as assitant organist. The Cathedral Choir’s alumni, including Fela Sowande, Ayo Bankole, and Lazarus Ekwueme, have played leading roles in the development of Nigerian church music and concert music.
