The School of Arts and Sciences has announced the 2007 Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship winners. The recipients include three graduate students from the Department of Music:

Joanna Smolko (historical musicology) Oyebade Dosunmu (ethnomusicology) Stephen Gbolonyo (ethnomusicology)

Andrew W. Mellon Fellowships are awarded by the School of Arts and Sciences each year to approximately 45 outstanding graduate students in the arts and sciences. They carry a stipend of $15,000 plus a tuition scholarship for two terms. Congratulations to music department Mellon Fellowship winners!
