Billy D. (William) Scott will defend his doctoral dissertation "Hybridity, Identity, and Liminality in the Pan-American Jazz Piano Tradition" for the PhD Degree in Jazz Studies. Graduate Faculty of the University may attend and participate in the examination. All Music Graduate Students are invited.
